1. Who We Are

Jetaviews (“Jetaviews”, “we”, “us”) operates an influencer marketing platform connecting brands and creators. We are the data controller for personal data processed through our Platform.

We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch law.

2. What We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account: Name, email, password (hashed), business name (brands)
  • Creator Profile: TikTok/Instagram handles, niche, language/country, content preferences
  • Campaign Data: Briefs, submissions, communications, evidence (e.g., screenshots)
  • Payments: Billing details handled by our payment processor (we don’t store full card data)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage: Pages, features used, interactions, timestamps
  • Device/Log: IP, browser, OS, crash logs
  • Cookies/SDKs: See Section 10

2.3 From Third Parties

  • Social Platforms: Public profile info and public performance metrics you connect or submit (e.g., view counts)
  • We do not access your private messages or non-public content.

3. How We Use Data

  • Operate and secure the Platform
  • Process campaign creation, applications, and payouts
  • Verify view counts, detect and prevent fraud/abuse
  • Send transactional emails (welcome messages, account notifications, important updates) via MailerSend
  • Send marketing communications (newsletters, product announcements, waitlist updates) via MailerLite, where you have consented
  • Analytics to improve features and user experience
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and policies

4. Legal Bases (GDPR)

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): To provide the Platform and related services
  • Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): Fraud prevention, security, product improvement, internal analytics
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Optional marketing; you can withdraw anytime
  • Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): Record-keeping, tax, and compliance duties

5. Sharing & Processors

5.1 We Share With

  • Campaign Counterparties: Limited brand/creator info necessary for collaboration
  • Service Providers (processors): Hosting, analytics, support, payments
  • Authorities: If required by law or to protect rights, safety, or integrity

5.2 Our Key Processors

  • Stripe: Payments and billing
  • PostHog: Product analytics
  • Sentry: Error monitoring and diagnostics
  • MailerSend: Transactional emails (welcome emails, notifications, account updates) sent from no-reply@jetaviews.com
  • MailerLite: Marketing communications (newsletters, product updates, waitlist announcements) sent from updates@news.jetaviews.com

5.3 We Do Not

  • Sell personal data
  • Share data with third-party advertisers without your consent

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes set out above and to meet legal obligations:

  • Account data: For the lifetime of the account; core records deleted within ~90 days after closure (legal records may be kept longer)
  • Campaign/transaction records: Typically 3–7 years to meet tax/accounting rules
  • Analytics logs: Shorter periods where feasible, aggregated/anonymized thereafter

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR you can request:

  • Access, correction, deletion (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restriction or objection (including to profiling based on legitimate interests)
  • Portability (structured, commonly used, machine-readable format)
  • Withdrawal of consent for marketing at any time

You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Security

  • Encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate
  • Access controls, least-privilege, and staff confidentiality
  • Monitoring, logging, and regular security reviews

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to minimize risk and impact.

9. International Transfers

Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. We also assess partners’ technical and organizational measures.

10. Cookies & Similar Tech

We use cookies/SDKs for:

  • Essential: Authentication, security, core functionality
  • Analytics: Product usage and performance (e.g., PostHog)
  • Performance/Diagnostics: Error monitoring (e.g., Sentry)

You can manage cookies in your browser or via our cookie banner (where available). Blocking some cookies may affect functionality.

11. Children

Our Platform is intended for users aged 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us to remove it.

12. Third-Party Links

Links to third-party sites (e.g., TikTok, Instagram) are subject to those parties’ policies. Review their privacy practices before sharing data with them.

13. Automated Decisions & Profiling

We may use automated checks (e.g., anomaly detection on views, duplicate detection) to prevent fraud and maintain platform integrity. These checks can affect campaign eligibility or payouts. You can request human review by contacting contact@jetaviews.com.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you in-app or by email. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
